Moving to New Zealand. Expatriating and living in New Zealand

One of the lands that has always aroused an undisputed fascination especially in the western reality, New Zealand, seems to have become in recent years a dream place, especially for newcomers.

In fact, many are the young people who, in search of fortune, decide to radically change their lives, moving and buying a property in New Zealand. The reasons are among the most varied, but the only common denominator is given by the many opportunities offered by this island.

Opportunities that manage to encompass all age groups, even pensioners who want to spend the years of old age in total serenity.  Are you curious to find out more about it? So, if you are looking forward to this new adventure, you just have to get comfortable and analyze with us all the main features that make New Zealand unique!

Let's get started!

Among the first elements to be considered, whenever you need to give a picture of a country's information, we identify the documents needed to access it. As for New Zealand, it is mandatory to apply for a visa, if you intend to change your life. And here a world opens up, because the options are among the most varied.

The first is the tourist visa (visitor visa), free and easy to obtain. Just show up with a valid passport and a return ticket to the country of origin already booked.

The validity is three months.

If you are a student, there is a solution suitable for you too! In fact, to be exact, there are 17 types present.

For future workers, however, always with limited duration, there are other solutions.

After passing the obstacle of the documentation required to be regularly inserted in this country, it is advisable to open a current account, which will ensure that you also find a job. To do so, you will need to be in possession of :

A New Zealand address (it can also be the one of the hotel where you stay);

Passport;

Fiscal code;

A copy of the visa

Last but not least is the health insurance, advisable and with an extremely high level.

Which are the working sectors in which you can easily find employment in this land? First of all is agriculture, where most of the newcomers who want to see their visa extended by 3 consecutive months converge. the tourism sector is also in constant turmoil, but the best of all, in terms of opportunity is that of 'hi-tech and digital.

But let's now come to the salient point: how to buy a property in New Zealand?

We must take a step back, however, and emphasize how convenient this land is in terms of economy and especially for the high levels of performance of services. The current currency is the New Zealand dollar, which corresponds to 0.58 euros.

As for the cities where we recommend buying a property, remember Auckland with its 1.4 million inhabitants and Wellington in the south of the country, both popular for job opportunities. Prices range from 200,000 euros to much higher levels.

What are you waiting for, run and make your ticket! New Zealand awaits you!
