So, if you're ready, you just have to be careful of our advice, maybe arming yourself with paper and pen to write down all the most interesting details: the mini guide is about to begin!

We have often inaugurated our articles, giving an overview of the state to be analyzed, to better define the characteristics. Greenland is part of the Kingdom of Denmark and was one of the first colonies of the Norwegian Crown. Although we do not have reliable data on the first inhabitants of this land, we can however say that this area has been a crossroads of many Nordic populations. The climate is mainly Antarctic, which settles throughout the year between the beautiful natural realities characterized by fjords and traditional buildings that do not go to affect the extraordinary beauty of the place.

From the economic point of view, Greenland left the European Union in 1985, through a popular referendum and, currently, has an economy based mainly on tourism and fishing. Despite this, more than 30% of the national GDP comes from subsidies received by Denmark.

But what are the documents needed to access Greenland?

Being part of the Kingdom of Denmark, but not of the EU, European citizens are required to have a valid passport and a visa if they intend to spend at least three months in this country.

A often determining factor for those who choose to go to live in a country, is given by the cost of living. In order to better facilitate the consultation of such data, we have decided to insert a small list about the prices and the expenses related to the basket of the goods of a citizen who lives in Greenland.

Let us remember that the current currency is the Danish krone, which corresponds to 0.13 euros.

Basic (Electricity, Heating, Air conditioning, Water, Garbage) for an apartment of 85m2 3.250,00 kr

Last but not least is our sector: real estate! For the most luxurious villas, rentals start from 700 euros per month, while for contracts of sale, the prices per square meter are 4,000 euros for real estate in the city center.

We hope that our mini guide has been useful, we just have to wish you a good trip!
