Let's start as always, with the documents you will need to enter this country. Assuming that Austria has belonged to the European Union since 1995, if you are a European citizen, you will not have any bureaucratic restrictions, because it is enough to use an identity document, which guarantees immediate recognition of your person. A compulsory document is the so-called Meldezettel , which attests to your domicile. You will necessarily have to obtain it within three days of your arrival if your intention is to move.
Another fundamental element for being a full-fledged Austrian citizen is the certificate of residence, together with the social security number. If you move to Austria and have not yet found a job, you will have to register with the employment office.
Moving on to the beauties of this country, we can not forget the beautiful Vienna, with the castle of Schönbrunn, the baroque city of Salzburg that gave birth to Mozart and Innsbruck, famous for its ski slopes.
The cost of living is quite high, but given that the services are particularly effective and efficient, we can say that everything is quite proportionate. Austria is, however, cheaper than many other countries in Northern Europe.

The average price for buying a property is 150,000 euros, starting from 50,000 as a standard price for smaller homes. Lease agreements are also fairly standardised as prices across the country. It starts from 400 euros per month until you reach much higher thresholds.
